Individualised Support
At Maverick Manner, we provide tailored 1:1 support and mentoring to help young people build independence, strengthen life skills, and work toward their goals.
Our experienced team offers practical, person-centred guidance in safe, inclusive environments, creating spaces where young people feel supported to grow, overcome challenges, and gain confidence.
Through consistent mentoring and meaningful engagement, we help each young person build resilience and take positive steps toward greater independence.

Cook & Connect
Build independence, confidence, and everyday life skills through hands-on cooking sessions that bring people together.
Participants learn practical skills in meal planning, nutrition, and food preparation while exploring creativity in the kitchen.
Each session encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and communication — helping young people gain confidence not only in cooking, but in themselves and their ability to contribute and connect with others.

Outdoor Connect
Experience the benefits of nature while building resilience, confidence, and social connection.
Through a variety of outdoor activities — from team challenges to bushwalks and community adventures — participants learn to set goals, support one another, and develop problem-solving and leadership skills.
Outdoor Connect helps young people reconnect with themselves and their surroundings, fostering a sense of wellbeing, belonging, and purpose.

Work & Connect
Gain real-world experience and build pathways to employment through our 10-week Work and Connect program at our community café, Sixteen06.
Participants develop practical skills in hospitality, customer service, and workplace readiness while learning teamwork, responsibility,
and communication.
The program helps young people identify their strengths, explore opportunities, and take confident steps toward meaningful work
and independence.
